Brickhouse Vineyard
Brickhouse Vineyard is located on an east-facing slope overlooking the Chehalem valley at an elevation of 440'. The bowl-shaped site, blessed with Willakenzie soil and planted in 1990 with organically certified Pinot noir grapes, is protected from the prevailing winds by the Dundee Hills. The Pinot noir comes from the lower half of a four acre block next to the entrance road. The clone is Pommard and is planted on its own roots. Our last vintage from this site was in 2001.

Freedom Hill Vineyard -
(Pinot noir, lyre block above)
Freedom Hill Vineyard is located in the foothills of the Oregon's Coast Range 10 miles southwest of Salem, Oregon. Located further west than most other Willamette Valley sites, it receives the first cooling breezes of the Pacific Ocean in the late afternoons. The vineyard rises above a large, low flat valley to the west, and benefits from heat rising off the valley floor. Our blocks have a southeast exposure at an elevation of 300' to 470'. This combination of warm days and cool nights leads to mature fruit, ripe tannins and excellent acidity.
Our original 3 acre Pinot noir block died of phylloxera in 2004 and we planted a new 4 acre block the same year in what was known as the W2 Block. We will increase our Pinot noir planting this winter by an additional 3 acres in the W1 Block.
The original Chardonnay vines were planted in 1982 and we grafted one acre to Dijon clone Chardonnay in 1998. We expanded our Chardonnay by planting 3 acres in 2005 and and 3 more in 2006, a total of 7 acres. The Pinot blanc was planted in 1993, our first Pinot blanc was produced in 1997. We currently have 1.9 acres of Pinot blanc and will add to this block in 2008.

Anden Vineyard
(lower section of what was know as Seven Springs Vineyard)
Anden Vineyard, overlooking the fertile Willamette Valley from its position in the hills 12 miles northwest of Salem, produceds Pinot noir and Chardonnay grapes. The Pinot noir grapes are grown on a steep southeast slope, protected from the maritime winds by a fold in the hills. The vineyard bocks were planted in 1982. The Chardonnay block was replanted to Dijon clone vines in 1994. Our last vintage from this site was in 2006.
